SMS Terms & Opt-In Policy

Last updated: June 27, 2026 · Operated by Nexus Production Solutions, LLC (Pulse)

1. Program description

Pulse, a product of Nexus Production Solutions, LLC ("Pulse", "we", "us"), sends SMS text messages to two categories of recipients on behalf of collision repair shops and independent technicians ("Shops") that use the Pulse platform:

  • Vehicle owners / customers of a Shop — appointment reminders, repair-status updates, photo/approval requests, ready-for-pickup notifications, and replies to inquiries the customer has initiated with the Shop.
  • Teammates of a Solo Pro Shop — production handoff alerts (for example, "vehicle is ready for body work" or "ready for paint") sent to phone numbers a Shop owner has added for non-Pulse teammates.

2. How to opt in

Consent to receive SMS from Pulse is collected by the Shop before any message is sent. There are three opt-in paths, all of which require an affirmative action by the recipient:

  1. Customer intake (web form): When a customer schedules a repair, estimate, or check-in through a Shop's Pulse booking or check-in page (for example /book/<shop> or /checkin/<token>), the form displays an unchecked SMS consent checkbox with the following disclosure adjacent to the phone number field:
"By checking this box and providing my mobile number, I agree to receive SMS text messages from {Shop Name} via Pulse about my repair, including appointment, status, photo/approval, and pickup notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See pulse.nexusproductionsolutions.com/sms and /privacy."
The checkbox is unchecked by default and the customer must check it and submit the form to opt in.
  2. In-person intake / paper authorization: When a Shop creates a repair order in person, the Shop's repair authorization form includes the same disclosure language above with a separate signature line or initial box specifically for SMS consent. The Shop records the consent in Pulse before any SMS is sent.
  3. Solo Pro teammate alerts: A Shop owner adds a teammate's phone number in Shop Settings → Teammates & text alerts. Each teammate receives an initial one-time confirmation text:
"{Shop Name} added you to Pulse production alerts (vehicle handoff notifications). Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply YES to confirm, STOP to cancel, HELP for help."
No further messages are sent unless the teammate replies YES. Consent records (timestamp, source, IP for web forms) are stored on the Shop's account.

Mobile opt-in data is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers and consent records collected for SMS are used only to deliver the messages described in this policy and are not sold, rented, or shared with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing.

3. Message types and examples

  • Status: "Your 2021 RAV4 at {Shop} is in paint. Estimated complete: Fri 6/27. Reply STOP to opt out."
  • Approval: "{Shop}: We found additional damage. Tap to review photos and approve: {link}. Reply STOP to opt out."
  • Pickup: "Good news — your vehicle is ready for pickup at {Shop}. Hours: 8a–5p. Reply STOP to opt out."
  • Teammate handoff: "Pulse: 2022 F-150 is out of paint and ready for reassembly. Reply STOP to opt out."

4. Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on the activity on your repair order or the production schedule of the Shop you work with. A typical repair generates 3–8 messages from check-in to pickup. Teammate handoff alerts are typically 1–10 per business day per teammate, depending on shop volume.

5. Fees

Pulse does not charge recipients to receive messages. Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. Pulse and the Shop are not responsible for any such carrier charges.

6. Opt out (STOP)

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message from Pulse. You will receive a single confirmation message:

"You have been unsubscribed from {Shop Name} / Pulse messages and will not receive any more messages. Reply START to resubscribe."

After the confirmation, no further messages will be sent from that Shop's Pulse account to your number unless you re-opt-in by replying START or by completing a new opt-in via one of the methods in Section 2.

7. Help (HELP)

Reply HELP to any message to receive this response:

"Pulse by Nexus Production Solutions. Support: support@nexusproductionsolutions.com. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. https://pulse.nexusproductionsolutions.com/sms"

You can also email support@nexusproductionsolutions.com with any questions.

8. Supported carriers

Messages are sent via Twilio. Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, and most other U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Privacy

Phone numbers and SMS consent records collected through Pulse are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information is shared only with sub-processors (such as Twilio) strictly to deliver the messages you have consented to receive.
